Organizational change and transformation traditionally attracts many researchers to dedicate their\r\ntimes and energy to research, because it is one of the important research topics. However there\r\ndoes not seem to be enough research especially in Arab world such as Egypt, although the area is\r\none of the significant regions now. In this paper, author discusses three topics based upon a case\r\nstudy at a professional consulting firm in Egypt which is specialized in Kaizen ââ?¬â??continuous\r\nimprovement. (1) How did the firm acquire the know-how knowledge about Kaizen? , (2) How did\r\nthe customer of the consulting firm succeed in the QC Circle activities with the support of the firm? ,\r\n(3) What are the key factors for success both in of the firm and their customers? At the result, it is\r\nsupposed that the learning process at the firm could be interpreted with SECI model, and the\r\ninnovative transformation process in their customers could be interpreted by applying five Stages\r\nmodel (Liu, Nagayoshi and Iijima; 2012). Also the key success factors for Kaizen could be\r\nlocalization of Kaizen activities. The generalizability of these findings can be ascertained with more\r\nstudies in future....
As the largest branch of service trade, tourism trade has contributed continuously\nto the global economy. Starting from the related departments of tourism\ntrade, this article used the method of Wang et al. (2013) to conduct value-\nadded decomposition of the global input-output table for the period\n2000-2014 and measured the GVC position and GVC participation index between\nChina and the United States for first time. The author just intends to\nconsider the related tourism industries, but it didnt integrate the related industries\nto a complete tourism industry. The comparative study found that\nChinas road transportation sector has advantage over the United States, but\noverall the GVC position and GVC participation index of China tourism characteristic\ndepartments are less than the United States. For the whole embedment\ndegree of GVC, there is still a gap between China and the United\nStates....

Social infrastructure projects (SIP), as the name implies, is defined as those buildings, structures and facilities specifically constructed to serve the community at large. The most apparent form of the social infrastructure projects are hospitals, schools and community facilities. Consequently, the nature of the infrastructure attracts less attention. In a sense, social infrastructure projects are one of the main criteria to enhance the economic productivity. This paper aims to contribute to this overlooked but important research line. There are two objectives of this paper. Semantically, this paper comprehensively reviews the social infrastructure literature from various aspects and applications. Then, it reviews nine journal papers and one conference paper in terms of ontology, epistemology and methodology. The preliminary finding reveals that ontological subjectivism, epistemological interpretivism, and qualitative analysis have dominated the social infrastructure domain. Last sections of this paper discuss the limitations and future research directions. The outcome can be used to improve general understanding of the social infrastructure projects....

This paper describes ongoing research investigating students'' conceptions of learning\nmarketing. This empirical study was conducted using a phenomenographic approach to analyze data from individual semi structured interviews with twenty-four Taiwanese\nuniversity students. The six categories of conceptions of learning marketing were identified, including learning marketing as ''memorizing,'' ''testing,'' ''applying,'' ''gaining higher status,'' ''understanding'' and ''seeing in a new way.'' In contrast with other learning domains, the results illustrate that ''applying'' was conceptualized as the major feature of learning marketing for all interviewed students. Moreover, most of the students consider ''applying'' and ''understanding'' to be closely related when learning marketing....
One major undertaking that hospitals often must consider is outsourcing. However, before\r\nsenior leadership can give outsourcing a green light, they must consider (a) reasons why to\r\noutsource, (b) obstacles to outsourcing, (c) best practices of outsourcing, and (d) implications\r\nto hospital management. There are several large outsourcing vendors, the larger ones being\r\nSodexo and Aramark, and they use their size to demand lower prices and higher quality from\r\nsupply vendors, equipment merchants, and other service organizations. Smaller outsource\r\nvendors often do not enjoy this benefit. Obstacles to effective outsourcing are numerous in\r\nhealth care. The federal and state regulations, medical practices, and personal feelings can be\r\nfactors that affect the decision to use an outsourcing vendor. Obstacles aside, there are ââ?¬Å?best\r\npracticesââ?¬Â that can provide offsetting benefits to the hospital. Considering more than just the\r\nbottom line can be a bonus that assists senior leadership with the decision to outsource.\r\nManagement has many other areas to consider, such as addressing legal, ethical, and moral\r\nconcerns properly. The purpose of this study is to give hospital senior leaders a point from\r\nwhich to start. It is not intended to provide a definitive answer on whether or not to outsource....

The research in this\r\npaper aims to encourage the use of modern approaches in order to increase enterprise agility,\r\nthrough the transition to Service-Oriented Enterprise (SOE). These offer the dwellers a quick and affordable way to navigate the city’s congested streets. This study aims to determine how commuters in Dhaka City perceive the quality of app-based CNG auto rickshaw service. A structured questionnaire is developed based on the users’ reported attitudes and perceived risks. In order to comprehend how users feel about an app-based CNG auto rickshaw service, collected data were used to create a Structural Equation (SE) model. The responses are also evaluated using the Relative Importance Index (RII) method, which validates the SE model.
